PRO Plucker:

Chicken Plucking made easy! The Featherman PRO plucker is our best-selling chicken plucker and a must-have piece of equipment for every poultry processor to increase processing efficiency. Simply scald chickens, then drop 4 or 5 birds into the tub and in 20-30 seconds or less, the birds will be picked clean. No pin feathers, no backache. Simple to use & easy to clean. Capable of plucking 3-50 lb. of chicken or turkey in less than 1 minute! Our Featherman PRO plucker is primarily for chickens, but it can handle turkeys & game-birds, too. Scalder:

The goal: No pin feathers. Period. This only happens with a perfect scald. The Featherman stainless scalder holds a constant water temperature to help you achieve that perfect scald. Made of 16 gauge stainless steel with a 100,000 BTU propane burner, temperature control within a 5-degree range, and sized to scald 4 chickens at a time. Works well for turkeys too! Either hand dunk birds or purchase a Manual Dunker or Automated Roto Dunker.

Chill Tank:

The Featherman Chill Tank is a large volume, custom-made tank for chilling poultry. Poultry growers know that to ensure tender poultry, chill time before freezing is essential. Our chill tank provides the space to chill large batches of birds with a simple ball valve drain. Convenient no tool support bars hook to the top lip of the chill tank providing necessary support. The tank is custom molded from high-density, UV-resistant, USDA food-grade molded plastic making it both durable & easy to clean.

*The video above was produced in 2008 and since then we have improved the scalder design to have better combustion & less/no soot build-up. We discontinued the piezo ignitor due to its inherent unreliability. The float valve was also discontinued.
